The Motorsport Calendar App, 2012 beckons
Fear not MSCers! We are collating the dates for 2012. Included in the current release (updated in the official Android Market) are the Le Mans 24 heures, the Le Mans Classic and the Formula One dates for 2012. These are the only Motorsport dates that are currently confirmed. Once other Championships confirm their dates the App. will be updated.

Weekend in Motorsport (22/23 October 2011)
After a difficult, soul-searching week for the motor racing community, it is right and fitting to firstly link to Marshal Pruett's tribute article to Dan Wheldon
To lighten the mood before getting back to business, here are some low brow motoring themed music videos from Mighty Car Mods off of Australia and then the Rubberbandits off of Ireland.

Dan Wheldon was due to co-drive in the Gold Coast 600 in another classic V8 Supercars event where series regulars are paired up with a Who's-Who of Top Name International Drivers. Darren Turner takes Wheldon's seat.
Looking Back...
Ginetta had mixed fortunes at the recent Britcar 24 Hours, bonus points for spotting The MSC crew loitering in the background on the grid walk.
Porsche have wheeled out another decent video detailing their well documented trip to Siberia in the moderately unsuitable Cayenne.

Weekend in Motorsport (8/9 October 2011)

This weekend could well be the busiest weekend of televised motorsport of the year, so stock up on beers and snacks, clear a space on the sofa and fire up the Sky box.... (All Times in British Summer Time (GMT+1))
First up on Saturday morning is Qualifying for the Formula One from Japan (BBC1, 05h00-07h30)

Then it's up all night for the highlight of the Australian motoring year, the Bathurst 1000
Featuring some familiar names to northern hemisphere fans such as Wimbledon's David Brabham and Denmark's Allan Simonsen.
